Designing a “Versatile Family” Photo Printer:

The new HP ENVY Inspire printer was designed for home use, to span the needs from family creativity projects and children’s education to parent’s work-at-home productivity. The paper tray has a top window enabling users to see at a glance which tray and media are in use or need refilling. Printer handling is simple thanks to intuitive controls and wireless connectivity.

GETTING TECHNICAL: I created an extensive Cosmetic Specification Document for the molding partners. It described the color of each and every part, textures of each surface, cosmetic review specs by surface, and any other unique details. There was also a gap/flush section.
